Mrs. Jeanne Klima
Kindergarten Teacher
Mrs. Jeanne Klima is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University in New York. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in reading. She has taught for over 20 years and still loves coming to work each day! Her kindergarten students fill the classroom with enthusiasm and positive energy! She is grateful to work with an outstanding administration, faculty, staff; talented students; and generous, supportive families! Mrs. Klima also works with the Drama Club, which puts on an annual school play. She feels blessed to teach at her home parish and to be part of a “Blue Ribbon” school.
Mrs. Klima and her husband, Rick, live in Rocky River and have two daughters, Katie and Christie. Both girls attended St. Christopher School and Magnificat High School. Her oldest daughter begins college this fall at the Univeristy of Dayton. Mrs. Klima values time with her family. Her hobbies include cooking, reading mystery books, and going to Playhouse Square!

Mrs. Paula Greene
Kindergarten Teacher
Mrs. Greene is one of three kindergarten teachers on staff at St. Christopher School. She has been teaching in Cleveland Catholic Diocese for over 20 years. Mrs. Greene graduated from Edinboro University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys working her young students as they grow academically and socially. The boys and girls arrive eager to learn and that is what keeps her energized.
Mrs. Greene and her family are members of St. Christopher Parish. She is a Eucharistic Minister and enjoys celebrating mass with her current and former students and their families. During the summer Mrs. Greene works for Franciscan University. Her students are teachers taking graduate level courses to renew their teaching license.
Mrs. Mary Kay Buckley
Kindergarten Teacher
Mrs. Buckley has been on the faculty of St. Christopher School for 30-plus years. Over the years she has taught junior high, sixth, fifth, fourth grades and today teaches kindergarten. She is often asked what grade is her favorite to teach, but she feels at each point in her career she was where she was meant to be. Mrs. Buckley prays to the Blessed Mother for direction – she is her guide and strength. She enjoys teaching the kindergartners and helping them to develop good skills and habits. She especially enjoys teaching them to read. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Buckley enjoys working with our school’s After-Care program. It allows her to meet more families and spend time with the children on a more social basis.
Mrs. Buckley and her husband, Gary, have raised two children, Troy and Martha. Both of their children attended St. Christopher School. Her daughter recently married a former student, Mike Strachan, and he has been a great blessing to her family. Mrs. Buckley enjoys vacationing with her family in Florida and in her free time she enjoys walking, swimming and reading.
