Mrs. Mary Meler
Third Grade Teacher
Mrs. Meler has a Bachelor of Science in Education from Bowling Green State University and joined the St. Christopher faculty in 2004. She teaches third grade and is the moderator for the school newspaper, The St. Chris Chronicles. Prior to coming to St. Christopher School, Mrs. Meler taught in special education for 15 years. She thoroughly enjoys working with her students and their families and especially grateful to teach at St. Christopher School where her faith can be shared during the school day and integrated into the curriculum.
Mrs. Meler is married to Paul and they have three children – Ann, David, and Elizabeth. When she is not teaching, Mrs. Meler is active in her own parish through service on the Education Commission, Athletic Association and as a Eucharistic Minister. Throughout the year she enjoys taking every opportunity to get together with extended family and friends.

Mrs. Mary Ellen Fink
Third Grade Teacher
Teaching is a second career for Mrs. Fink. She originally studied home economics/food and nutrition as spent a number of years in the food product development business before going back to school to get earn her teaching certificate. She earned her Master of Arts in Education and licensure in grades 1-8 from Baldwin-Wallace College. She also took additional coursework in science and language arts to receive a K-12 reading endorsement along with her advanced degree. In July 2011 Mrs. Fink participated in a teacher institute at the Library of Congress where she learned best practices for using primary sources in the K-12 classroom, while exploring some of the millions of digitized primary sources available on the Library’s Web site.
Mrs. Fink is married and the mother of five children. 2011 marked the high school graduation of the last Fink after 24 years of continuous Catholic education. Away from the classroom, Mrs. Fink enjoys staying fit by attending Jazzercise classes, working out at home, and walking with friends. She can be found each fall running or walking at the Komen Race for the Cure.
