RCIA - Becoming Catholic
From the time of the Apostles, becoming a Christian has been accomplished by a journey and initiation in several stages. Here at Saint Christopher we make this journey toward initiation into a life in Christ in the Catholic Church together as a community of faith.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.) is a three step process leading to full initiation into the Catholic Church. The rite of Christian initiation is a progression in faith for those adults who having heard the mystery of Christ proclaimed wish to enter the life of the Catholic Church and proceed toward that goal over a period of time through faith sharing and a conversion of life.
Persons baptized into another Christian church and are seeking full communion in the Catholic Church are also welcome to join the R.C.I.A. process to learn about the Catholic faith.
If you are interested in the R.C.I.A. process please contact Father Tim at firstname.lastname@example.org
